EnglishReady EdTech Pvt. Ltd. ("EnglishReady", "we", "our") is dedicated to safeguarding your personal data in strict compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 of the Republic of India.
1. Lawful Basis and Purpose of Processing
We collect and process your personal data solely for specific, transparent pedagogical purposes:
- Identity & Account Creation: Mobile phone number and name for login authentication via OTP and transaction verification.
- 1:1 Practice Session Delivery: Live audio/video stream transmission between you and your chosen certified human mentor.
- Pedagogical Feedback: Generation of rubric scores, grammar corrections, and personalized vocabulary banks.
- Session Recordings: Private playback archives made accessible strictly to you for self-review. We require explicit, logged affirmative consent before any session recording commences.
2. Your Rights as a Data Principal under DPDP Act 2023
- Right to Access & Summary: You can download a complete JSON archive of your personal profile, credit ledger, and session history via your Learner Settings tab or our
/api/v1/user/export-dataendpoint. - Right to Correction & Erasure: You can request complete erasure of your account and recordings via the Account Deletion feature. All data will be expunged from primary storage within 30 days.
- Right to Grievance Redressal: Reach our appointed Data Protection Officer directly at [email protected].
3. Data Security & Storage
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third-party advertising networks. All media recordings are hosted in private, encrypted S3-compatible cloud storage accessible only via short-lived, pre-signed expiring URLs.
